Day One Hundred and Twenty Three

by on Feb.16, 2010, under project 365

It feels like I’ve shot this before. I took my son with me. It was sooo cold. We should have made it out sooner but things got late with different appointments. We played a bit and finally came out with this. The stuff we played with look fun but it was too cold to perfect it in camera so we stayed with this. Initially we went out to shoot the moon. By the time our appointment was done, the moon was gone. I can’t believe it. I don’t even know where it went, it wasn’t even cloudy. We’ll get to it some time. Here’s Day 1-2-3.

Strobist info: 580 EX II CL on ETTL -3 EV at 105mm. It was setup for some tests but finally didn’t have much to do with this final shot. It did fire, and was triggered by the ST-E2. Bunch’a tweaks in Lr.

Day Fifty Five

by on Dec.10, 2009, under project 365

Even though I was ready to go and shoot a dusk portrait in the middle of the afternoon, (I’ll do it some other time and link back) I forgot my tripod at home so I had to scratch that. I walked around and found these wheels chained to each other. You can bet that none of these are going anywhere without the other.

No strobes used for this particular image. Big fireball in the sky, partly cloudy, CL.
