Day 241

by on Jun.14, 2010, under project 365

This is Ela’s dog. I don’t know his name. He got left behind somehow and I ended up taking his portrait. The image reminds me of our trip to Boise on Day 35. Sorry about the watermarks, I tried to make them more subtle but with some images it’s just too obvious. Thanks for stopping by. God bless you.

Lighting info: 580 EX II CL with coroplast snoot/grid, zoomed to 105mm via Pocket Wizard. Shot at f8 1/200.

Day 228

My favourite little girl. No wonder she’s in most of my images. Sometimes I think how wonderful it is to have so many great pictures of my little kids. These days, if I ask her: “Are you an angel or a princess?” she’ll reply back: “Umm… call me princess.” No comment on that.

Strobist info: 580 EX behind the princess for hairlight and 580 EX behind the camera, clamped to a desk and bounced into back wall, both via PW.

Day 227

My son and I are building Lego stuff every once in a while. We found out that in Legoland, if you don’t want to walk the plank they drive you to the edges with the plank and they make you jump. You can’t even take your hat with you. Here’s what they use: it’s the Zamboni-Plank-Machine.
