Day 210

by on May.14, 2010, under project 365

Today it’s about the world around us. This is not a “green post”. It’s just about the perspective. The image below is made out of 13 panoramas, all made of over a dozen images each, in total about 150 images. I let Photoshop do the heavy clumsy lifting, as you can see. Photoshop crashed a few times while trying to figure out all 150 images, so I worked separately on the vertical panoramas and then merged them into this final image. Here’s day 210.

Day 207

by on May.11, 2010, under project 365

The sweetest thing happened today as we were driving through northern Washington. It was a beautiful day and we were enjoying a mid day drive when all of a sudden, a squeaky voice came from the back seat, as we went passed this field. “Mommy, are those marsh-mellows?” We had to stop and make it the image of the day. Since I only had a 50 mm prime lens I shot a whole bunch and merged them into a panorama in post production (probably my 3rd or so time using Ps in this project). You can see I tweaked with a whole bunch more, and not just with the panorama. The image is huge, considering 21 MP for each shot (this is made of 13 or so) but my exporting it for the web made it much smaller. Here is another blessed day 207.
