Day 335

by on Sep.16, 2010, under project 365

This morning, while my son was in school, in the dinning area, I decided to take my little princess for a walk. Just like that. We went outside and walked to this park where she started to climb, and play and slide, and go up the slide and all kinds of childish things. I took the camera with me to snap a few shots just for myself thinking that for the project I will come up with something else. I ended up choosing one of the shots I took in the morning. Why? I love it. And I just know that I’ll be crying in a few short years looking at this picture. My kids are such a blessing. Right now, I think life without kids is just empty. And as the good book says, “for everything there is a season”. Thanks to a little reminder from a good friend, I remember very often that for everything there is a season. There is a time to laugh and there is a time to cry, there is a time to be born and a time to die, there is a time to play and there is a time to go on a walk. The walking part is not in the book but I think there is a time for that too. Don’t you think?

Day 300

by on Aug.12, 2010, under project 365

Yup, I’ve been doing this for 300 days. That’s almost a year. Almost. I wanted to get a shot like this because I don’t think I have many photographs of my daughter and I, especially standing. I know she’ll grow and I won’t remember how little she was, or how big I was compared to her. Here’s Day 300. God bless you.
