Day 188

by on Apr.22, 2010, under project 365

Another Home Depot project, actually done in the same Saturday as the previous one. This one is quite fun to play, actually, and I believe the image is self explanatory. The rules follow the American Football* rules to a certain extent and the “ball” you just flick, instead of kicking. The end zone is “negotiable” in size and the point is not to flick the ball too hard to actually pass the end zone. Whenever the player gets a touchdown, you get to flick for a field goal. Play it on a table and make sure the ball doesn’t fall off the table. No helmets, no hike, no fumbles. Fun game.

* I have to call it American football because I am still not convinced that European football is soccer and American football just football. I understand that soccer may mean only soccer and that football may mean both football and soccer, but which game uses the foot in contact with the ball more often?
