Day 225

by on May.29, 2010, under project 365

I shot this using my old Canon Rebel XT and a 50mm prime lens. I used the highest ISO setting to create the grain/noise and shot it in BW. This is viewed through a GeoTrax® high-rise . The blinds in the background are real blinds, creating a fun effect in the “window” openings. I love this image.

Day Ninety Five

by on Jan.19, 2010, under project 365

In your face! is what this feels like to me, even though I was smiling somewhat kindly. It feels weird to be photographed so closely. Imagine the huge banners in the malls where you can almost see the amino-acids from the cells of the models faces. Brrr… I can promise you this is about as close of a shot you’ll get from me. I’ll back off now.

Strobist info: 580 EX II x2 at 1/4 zoomed wide via PW CL and CR through white umbrellas. Oh, I also held some sort of white foam bouncer to through some light under the cap.
