This is one of my little friends. He’s the one you don’t see in the bedtime picture from two days ago, because he’s a good boy and goes to bed early. He also wakes up early. Waaay to early. And when you take into consideration the time zone he’s coming from, that adds another hour to his “earliness”. He is such a sweet little boy. I have never seen a more humble little person. I cannot describe it. A few times, when he got upset, he just put his head down and had a very humbled countenance. No crying, no fussing. Amazing. Here he is eating… something. I don’t know what he eats, but the manner in which he does is so special. You can see he’s putting the food into his fork, using his other hand and only then he eats it. He is very well brought up and does not eat without silverware. Honestly. Very well mannered. What a joy do have him around!

This is how we feed the kids here. Boil a bunch of pasta and put it on the table. Everybody grabs as much as they can need and then we throw them in bed. Then, if they wake up early in the morning, (earlier than us that is, which they do) they get self serve leftover.
