Pixel Darkroom Photography

We’ve spent a good part of a very hot day outside. Not a good idea. This is part of the 2010 Abbotsford Airshow with a bit of post processing as described below. It was so hot, that the kids got cranky, my wife got cranky and even I was a bit cranky. I always liked airplanes and listening to their roaring noises was a lot of fun. I always like the thunderbirds, which took off just as we were preparing to leave. It was noisy and lots of smoke and aerobatics. It must be a fun job to fly around upside down, low enough to frighten kids and scare adults. Here’s a shot of a couple of older airplanes that were part of the US Navy long time ago. Day 303 of 365.

I added a texture (created by “princes-of-shadows”, as her nickname says) which I downloaded from here) for this image in Ps. The original included an F16, which I cropped out in order to give the image a more vintage feel.
